Chronic pain is the 21st century’s invisible handicap, a humanitarian crisis of epidemic proportions

In spite of the health care industry’s best efforts to properly diagnose and treat chronic pain, millions of individuals around the globe remain undiagnosed and untreated. As time goes by careers fall apart families get demolished, lives deteriorate, dreams collapse and every day reality transforms into a living nightmare.  As hope fades away some spiral into deep depression, often addiction, sometimes committing suicide that scars entire families for generations.
Chronic pain has become a pandemic with serious implications effecting millions and has to be dealt with effectively.  Chronic pain holds back individuals, families, often entire communities or groups from their full potential.

I believe effective chronic pain prevention, in some cases, treatment and sometimes recovery is achievable; it comes through education and a vision for a promising future.  ”The Chronic Pain Educational Documentary Series” goal is to raise awareness and educate on the issues related to chronic pain as an investment towards a future where dreams do become true and lives are experienced to their full potential.

The Chronic Pain Educational Documentary Series is a series of short, self contained documentaries, each focused on a particular aspect of chronic pain.

We invite you to join and benefit from our effort and learn how to develop the tools and skills to manage chronic pain more effectively, help a loved one to cope or participate by sharing your experience.  Health care professional are also encouraged to share your skills, knowledge, experience and resources.  Companies wishing to participate and support our effort are also encouraged to join in.
